France World Cup Squad 2022

The France Football Federation has officially announced their squad for the FIFA World Cup 2022, Qatar

Major Misses:

A lot of big misses can be seen in this France squad. They are losing out on Paul Pogba and N'Golo Kante due to injuries. Ferland Mendy seems to be a big miss for France in the left back position. To cover up that position, they do have Lucas Hernandez, a make-shift left back and Theo Hernandez, a natural left back.

Apart from them Jonathan Kloss 8s missing from this squad and also Bubakas Kamara, from Aston Villa

Match Schedule:

France has tied it's group with Denmark, Australia and Tunisia. Their first match is against Australia, the second one is with Denmark and the last one is with Tunisia.

Line-ups:

Lately France has played in a back three formation, with three centre backs and two wing backs, who eventually tuck in to form a back five in defensive phases. They have two midfielders in the middle, one midfielder as a CAM and upfront two strikers.

In our prediction of the starting 11, Lucas, Varane and Saliba are three main centre backs. Kounde as a right wingback, because of Saliba's defensive output. So Kounde can push high on th3 right flank and attack. On the left flank, Theo Hernandez is the best option.

In the midfield, Tchouameni is undroppable. The other man of the pair should be Rabiot. Rabiot has good attacking and defensive outputs, a preddy good ball-carrying ability,as well as experience. Camavinga can also be an option for Rabiot.

Uptop Griezmann is playing as a CAM, along with Mbappe and Benzema as strikers.
