FIFA WORLD CUP Group G Preview - by Arshan Ahmad Qaiser

Coming into group G which features the might of Brazil, Fans will get to see some eye watering clashes in Qatar this year as the 2nd spot is very much up for grabs for the other three nations.

Brazil, Switzerland and Serbia were in the same group in the 2018 edition too.

Brazil 🇧🇷

As we know, Brazil is the most talked about team in football when it comes to world cups. They have won the tournament a record 5 times, featured in every edition of the tournament and are also a heavy favourites for this edition in Qatar. Basically Tite likes to play a 4-2-3-1 formation, but sometimes he adapts to the opposition team, playing a 4-4-2 line-up.

It will take something very special to beat this Brazilian team, seeing the kind of attack, midfield, defense and overall team chemistry they possess.

Cameroon 🇨🇲

They are the weakest team on paper, but no team in FIFA World Cup should be underestimated because that's when we get to see some shocking upsets and Cameroon did one in 1990 when they defeated Argentina in the group stage.

They are also the most appearing African nation (8) in world cups, who made it to Qatar on the very last match against Algeria, scoring in the dying seconds of the match.

Vincent Aboubakar and co. will have to do something magical if they are to repeat their incredible feat of 1990 world cup where they reached the knockout stages.

"And now under their new manager Murat Yakin they are looking a solid team" as quoted by Zeeshan Khan.

Switzerland are prone to giving surprises in major tournaments as they did in Euro 2020 by defeating France.

Dragan Stojkovic's men have got a lot of talent in the likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Dusan Tadic, Aleksandar Mitrocic, Filip Kostic. Although their defence is not that good, they score a lot of goals.

If this team gets the first goal, it will be very difficult to bring them down due to the aggressive attacking depth.
