No doubt that premier league is a great league but they havnt had any world beating teams in terms of european success , like no premier league club even in their prime can beat the prime barcalona{ 2009/12} or prime bayern{ 2013/14 or even the 3 champions in a row real madrid. The only team that comes close to this conversation is the treble winning man united but that was kind of a lucky season which even og man united fans would agree. So do you think competetiveness alone can be a definition of being called a superior league?
i think the prem is the best because of the quality of teams all round... i would say if you compare Valladolid with Fulham (both teams to be relegated this season from both leagues). Fulham is clearly the better team and would come out on top most of the time. The level of teams in La Liga is incomparable to that of Prem. As for the great teams you have to look no further than Man utd 99/ City right now/ Man utd 2007 or even the liverpool team, they are all great teams... and when was the last time you saw an all Spanish champo league final
This season has been lit it was like crazy things going in each and every league Athletico winning la liga,Inter winning serie a,Lille winning ligue1.
Despite of all these things the thrill till the end of week to know who are gonna play UCL or who are gonna be champions in their league is crazy.So,rating number one league this season is very tough except Bundesliga.
When it comes to La liga vs EPL.It's obvious that in la liga usually their is a title race between top 3 clubs Barca,RM and ATM
and in EPL we se a bunch of clubs not just competing for the title but also for their place in UCL and even UEL each and every season.
So,if you judge on the basis of past,present and near future EPL will definitely be rated over La Liga dispite of the reason that this season of La liga has been lit🔥.
